1. Who we are

killergroom.com is run by Killer Groom Limited (NZ company number 9246945), a New Zealand company based in East Tamaki, Auckland ("Killer Groom", "we", "us", "our"). These terms apply whenever you use our website or buy from us. By placing an order you agree to them, so please read them before you buy.

2. Your rights under New Zealand law

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. If anything in these terms conflicts with those Acts, the Acts win. If you are a consumer outside New Zealand, you may also have rights under your local consumer law, and these terms do not take those away.

3. Our products

Our products are cosmetic grooming products for external use. Read the label and directions before use, and check the ingredients list if you have sensitive skin or known allergies. If irritation occurs, stop using the product. We work hard to show our products accurately, but colours and packaging can vary slightly from the photos on screen.

4. Prices and GST

Prices on our website are shown in New Zealand dollars and exclude GST. For delivery to a New Zealand address, GST at 15% is added at checkout and shown to you before you pay. For example, a product listed at $26.09 costs $30.00 including GST.

If you shop from Australia, prices and shipping are shown in Australian dollars. New Zealand GST is not charged on orders delivered outside New Zealand. Any import duties, taxes or fees charged by the destination country are the responsibility of the person receiving the order, unless checkout shows them as included.

Prices can change without notice, but the price you pay is the one shown at checkout when you place your order. If a price on our site is clearly wrong because of an error, we will contact you before we process the order and give you the choice to pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Orders and payment

When you place an order, you are offering to buy the products in it. We accept your order when we dispatch it. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is out of stock, if there is a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund you in full to your original payment method.

Payment is taken at checkout using the payment options shown there. Card details are handled by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.

6. Discount codes and promotions

• Only one discount code can be used per order.
• Discount codes cannot be combined with other codes or promotions unless the offer says they can.
• Codes have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be added to an order after it has been placed.
• Some codes are limited to one use per customer, to certain products, or to a set time. Those conditions are stated with the offer.
• We may cancel a code, or an order that uses one, if the code has been misused or shared in breach of its conditions.

7. Subscribe & Save

When you start a Subscribe & Save plan you agree to a minimum of two orders: your first order plus one recurring order. Your chosen products are charged and shipped automatically at the frequency you pick, and you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for each scheduled order until you cancel.

You can skip, change or cancel your subscription at any time after your second order has been processed, from your account or by contacting us. We will give you notice before any change to subscription prices, products or discounts takes effect. If a scheduled payment fails, we may retry it or pause your subscription until your payment details are updated.

8. Shipping and delivery

Every order ships from Auckland. The destinations we deliver to, delivery costs and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and in our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates from our carriers, not guarantees. The products are at your risk once they are delivered to the address you gave us, and they become yours once we have received full payment.

9. Returns and refunds

Our Refund Policy explains how to return a faulty, damaged or incorrect item. If a product is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Guarantees Act. Our Refund Policy also sets out whether change of mind returns are accepted.

10. Wholesale accounts

Wholesale accounts for barbers, salons and stockists are approved at our discretion and trade on separate wholesale terms, which we provide when your account is approved. Wholesale prices only apply to orders placed while logged in to an approved wholesale account. If these terms and the wholesale terms conflict, the wholesale terms apply to wholesale orders.

If you buy from us for business purposes, you agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply to that purchase, to the extent allowed by section 43 of that Act.

11. Reviews and content you send us

If you send us a review, photo, comment or idea, you let us use it on our website and in our marketing, and you confirm it is honest, is your own, and does not break the law or anyone else's rights. We may remove content that is offensive, misleading or unlawful.

12. Using our website

Do not use our website for anything unlawful, to interfere with how it works, or to scrape, copy or resell its content. The Killer Groom name, logo, product images, label artwork and website content belong to us or the people who licensed them to us. Do not use them without our written permission.

Our website may link to other sites. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

13. Our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any order is limited to the price you paid for that order. This does not limit any right you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act or the Fair Trading Act.

14. Privacy

How we collect, use and protect your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. We handle it in line with the Privacy Act 2020.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have non exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
